CNN’s Jake Tapper hosted a panel discussion on Friday on the failure of Trump’s Obamacare repeal. Guests included CNN’s chief correspondent John King, and political adviser David Gergen, who has served under four presidents, including Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. https://youtu.be/V1WeHaz5bnw “This is a man who just shoves it off on other people and described things in ways that are just misleading. Gergen said. “When you add up the totality of it — you [Tapper] said this is the worst week of his presidency. I actually think this may be the worst hundred days we’ve ever seen in a president.”…

When Trumpcare sizzled out on Friday, Trump’s immediate reaction was to blame Democrats. While he insisted he wasn’t upset, he quickly moved on to looking for more people to blame for his and his party’s spectacular failure. According to a New York Times report, the blame has been falling increasingly on Reince Priebus, Trump’s chief of staff. Priebus was said to have worked closely on the initial bill with fellow Wisconsin Republican and House Speaker Paul Ryan, and it looks like Trump could throw the two of them under the bus soon: The president and his team lamented outsourcing so…

Here’s a lesson on not counting your chickens before they hatch: Television ads thanking Republican representatives for “repealing Obamacare” ran last night in several congressional districts during NCAA basketball games — mere hours after the vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act had been called off. A conservative PAC called American Action Network  paid for the ads. Here’s one of them, urging you to thank Rep. Darrell Issa for “keeping his promise and replacing the Affordable Care Act with the better health care you deserve.” https://youtu.be/mjLYLEXM3DE Deadspin, who originally broke this story, since received the following hilarious response from the…

Bill Maher tore into Republicans over the Trumpcare mess earlier on Friday. The GOP’s proposed health care bill was shelved when the Republicans realized they didn’t have enough votes for it to pass Congress. Comedian and Real Time host Bill Maher covered Trumpcare and attempts at an Affordable Care Act repeal in his monologue on Friday, and delivered one brutal blow after another. https://youtu.be/lZvaTrClzio Paul Ryan wrote a health care bill that somehow covered fewer people than just repealing Obamacare, and replaced it with nothing, and it still wasn’t good enough for the Freedom Caucus. It’s like if you wrote a…

President Donald Trump is spending the day at the Trump International Golf Club in Virginia, attending “meetings.” The press pool accompanying the president was told that he would be taking “meetings” while at the Trump golf resort in Virginia. In other words, he’s playing golf, and they don’t want you to ask questions about it. This is the 12th time Trump has played golf since assuming the presidency 9 weeks ago. It’s also his eight consecutive weekend spent at a property owned by the Trump Organization. Reminder: These are actual Trump tweets from 2014.

The GOP’s plan to repeal and replace Obamacare went up in flames on Friday after it became clear that the Republicans simply didn’t have the votes need for the bill to pass. Pres. Donald Trump spoke to reporters in the Oval Office afterwards, blaming Democrats and essentially rooting for the nation’s health care system to collapse. President Trump on Obamacare repeal: “I never said repeal it and replace it in 64 days, we have a long time” https://t.co/pXyeY7fZOL — NBC News (@NBCNews) March 24, 2017 He lied AGAIN to save face and claimed, “You’ve all heard my speeches. I never…

Pres. Donald Trump was quick to shift blame after his presidency’s latest, spectacular failure. Trump is physically incapable of accepting blame or criticism, let alone take responsibility. Therefore, it’s not surprising that after the GOP’s proposed health care bill and Obamacare repeal went up in flames, Trump suggested that Democrats were in fact to blame. He called press outlets, including The New York Times, to try and control the narrative and get his crazy idea out there that somehow the Democrats — and not his wretched, cruel, deplorable health care bill itself — were responsible. He made sure to add:…

FBI Director James Comey has made an unannounced visit to the White House today, his first since the days following the inauguration. According to The Hill, “No meeting with Comey was listed on the president’s public schedule. Comey was spotted leaving the White House less than an hour later after television cameras showed him entering the West Wing.” The unscheduled visit is raising eyebrows, especially since it so closely follows Comey’s testimony where he confirmed that the FBI is investigating possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential elections.

In an interview that’s left everyone scratching their heads, Steve Mnuchin claimed that the president was in “great shape.” Mnuchin, Trump’s treasury secretary and overall Hollywood weirdo, told a befuddled interviewer and stunned audience that Donald Trump has “incredible stamina” and is “constantly doing things” (and by that he must mean tweeting and watching cable news, right? Right??). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P10e8HEbk4o He’s got perfect genes. He does. … He’s got perfect genes. He has incredible energy, okay, and he’s unbelievably healthy. […] Well, let me just tell you since [Trump] got to the White House, he doesn’t eat KFC anymore and McDonald’s.…
