This woman from Kentucky WENT. OFF. on Mitch McConnell. 😳😳😳pic.twitter.com/qroghvZEuA — Erick Fernandez (@ErickFernandez) February 21, 2017 An angry constituent at Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) speech at the Lawrenceburg Chamber of Commerce in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on Tuesday tore into the Senate majority leader over the Trump administration’s pledge to “bring back coal jobs” to the United States. “The last I heard, these coal jobs are not coming back and now these people don’t have the insurance they need because they’re poor,” the woman yelled at the Senator. “And they work those coal mines, and they’re sick, the veterans are sick, the…

The Federal Transit Administration is delaying a decision on whether to approve a $650 million federal grant for electrification of a San Francisco Bay Area train system that would also help California’s high-speed rail project. Congressional Republicans had pushed the administration to reject the application from Caltrain. The FTA faced a Friday deadline for a decision, but in a letter sent Friday the agency says it’s deferring a decision so it can be considered as part of President Donald Trump’s budget. No timeline is given. Members of California’s GOP delegation had asked the Transportation Department to block approval of the…

Right-wing pundit Ann Coulter sought to defend Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos’ comments about paedophilia by incorrectly accusing immigrants and refugees of the same crime. The woman who has built her career by speaking and writing about the false premise that the main problem facing the US is immigration, and that immigrants are more likely to commit crimes than native-born US citizens, tweeted: “Well, Milo learned HIS lesson. Pederasty acceptable only for refugees and illegals. Then libs will support you.” Her tweet, which prompted a backlash online, was related to recently resurfaced videos which showed Mr Yiannopoulos saying that boys as young as 13 were…

Former president Barack Obama’s daughter, Malia Obama, was spotted in Aspen over President’s Day weekend — adjacent to a wild Colorado ski party. The elder Obama daughter spent the afternoon with friends at Aspen hotspot Cloud 9 Bistro — but her location, however, also happened to be the scene of one crazy President’s Day celebration. She and her friends reportedly stayed away from the party that consisted of over 200 bottles of champagne. Malia’s elite group included the daughters of New York Giants chairman and Oscar-winning producer of Forrest Gump, Steve Tisch, Brice Lourd and Prince Tasillo von Furstenberg. As…

President Donald Trump reportedly isn’t adjusting well to life in the White House after his first month in office. That’s according to Axios’ Mike Allen’s latest newsletter, in which he writes that a Trump adviser told him the president is experiencing “cabin fever” in the White House. Trump is reportedly experiencing headaches and frustration that he can’t spend his evenings dining at restaurants like he could around Trump Tower in his old neighbourhood in New York City. Trump’s campaign-style rally in Melbourne, Florida yesterday — where he mentioned a nonexistent incident of refugees committing crimes in Sweden — was “partially…

Anthony Bourdain, a television personality known for his shows on food and travel, offered some advice to President Trump following his remarks on a nonexistent Sweden terrorism incident. “You might consider actually reading your daily intel brief. Or I dunno, ask around the office,” Bourdain tweeted at Trump in response to Trump’s clarification on his comments. Bourdain is a vocal Trump critic who has vowed to boycott the food establishments at President Trump’s Washington, D.C. hotel. On Sunday, Trump addressed his statement about a nonexistent terrorism incident in Sweden, saying it was in reference to a segment he saw on…

Republican Senator: “it’s just not the administration that’s got problems, Republicans in the House and Senate have problems” pic.twitter.com/HOeSUyboC0 — DNC Press (@dncpress) February 19, 2017 Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Sunday rebuffed President Donald Trump’s recent attacks on the judicial branch of government and the media. Appearing on Face the Nation, Graham argued that Trump was undermining American values by calling the media an “enemy of the people” and attacking judges for striking down a travel ban aimed at Muslim countries. “The backbone of democracy is a free press and an independent judiciary,” Graham told CBS host John Dickerson.…

The public are very confused by Melania Trump’s new hashtag on Twitter, which doesn’t really seem to make any sense. Media scrutiny is at an all time high for the First Lady following worrying footage which emerged from the Inauguration ceremony which showed the former model looking sad and desolate prompting the #FreeMelania. The 46-year-old has been hiding out in her New York penthouse in Trump Tower and she’s recently brainstormed her very hashtag which she ends each of her tweets with: ‘#PowerOfTheFirstLady.’ Unfortunately, it’s not too clear what the hashtag actually means. One user tweeted, ‘Can someone please explain…

Pres. Donald Trump admitted on Sunday that the terror attack he said happened in Sweden on Friday night was actually something he saw — but didn’t fully understand — on Fox News. In a tweet, the president said he’d gotten confused by something he saw on an episode of Tucker Carlson’s new Fox News show, writing, “My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.” The supposed attack in Sweden spawned social media memes and joined Kellyanne Conway’s “Bowling Green massacre” canard as another “alternative fact”…

President Trump hit the golf course for the third weekend in a row. Trump played “a couple of holes” on Saturday and Sunday while staying at his resort Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., the White House told reporters. Trump played golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last weekend and also hit the links the weekend prior, both times at Mar-a-Lago. Trump has referred to his resort as the “Winter White House” and “Southern White House.” After Trump took office, Mar-a-Lago doubled membership rates to $200,000 a year.  Trump held a campaign-like rally in Florida on Saturday, where about 9,000 supporters…
