Bruce Springsteen has been a longtime supporter of the Obamas and a staunch critic of Pres. Donald Trump. The Boss has never shied away from political opinion, and he even attended a Hillary Clinton rally. He has also spoken “about Trump’s masculinity and why his confidence is a ‘facade’ — a leadership style propelled by “anxiety, fragility and insecurity.” Now Springsteen, in collaboration with Houserockers frontman Joe Grushecky, has released an anti-Trump protest song that’s sure to soar in the charts. Asked by the Post Gazette about the inspiration behind the song, Grushecky said: [Trump] lost me the moment he…

President Donald Trump’s crazy obsession with mainstream media and his predecessor continues. Trump attacked The New York Times again, saying the paper distorted facts on the New England Patriots’ White House visit on Wednesday. The paper posted a photo comparison in Twitter, showing the team’s White House visit during the Obama administration and now. Trump hit back: This is what the president of the United States is preoccupied with. The fact is, only 34 players attended the event this year, compared with 50 in 2015. Many cited political reasons for staying away.

Stephen Colbert is back from Easter vacation, and he’s churning out hilarious bits again. In one segment, he took on InfoWars nutjob and Trump favorite Alex Jones. Jones is a noted conspiracy theorist, 9/11 truther, and Trump supporter. Trump reciprocated the love during his campaign, when he sent a video message to Jones, praising him and his reputation. But now Jones is also embroiled in a custody battle, and suddenly his theories on the Sandy Hook shooting (that claimed the lives of 20 children and six adults) or his claim that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are possessed by demons…

The Trump family continues to cash in from Donald Trump’s presidency. Sales of Ivanka Trump’s namesake brand, for example, have surged since her father’s inauguration. Now it looks like Ivanka is going to make ever more money — thanks to her new position in the White House as senior adviser. Ivanka’s company won provisional approval from the Chinese government for three new trademarks on the same day the first daughter-turned-adviser attended dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mar-a-Lago. That looks too shady to be a coincidence. Ivanka no longer manages the day-to-day operations of the brand — she passed…

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) has introduced legislation that would strengthen the Constitution’s presidential removal procedures. Blumenauer filed the bill as a result of concerns about President Donald Trump’s erratic and improper behavior. Currently, the Constitution’s 25th Amendment, adopted half a century ago, is in place to define such procedures. According to the 25th Amendment, the vice president assumes the role of president in case the president is removed from office, dies, or resigns. Another option is for the vice president and a majority the Cabinet to declare that the president is unfit to serve. If a president refuses to step…

The first White House Easter Egg Roll under the Trump administration was a total bust. Poor organization and low attendance made it pale in comparison with earlier Easter Egg Rolls, especially the ones organized by the Obama White House. Last year’s White House Easter Egg Roll was attended by 35,000 guests and featured Beyoncé and Jay-Z. This year’s star attraction was a band called the Martin Family Circus. Trump’s staff said they were “expecting around 21,000 people,” but photos of the crowd reveal that there were much, much fewer guests than that. — about an average crowd in recent decades,…

Pres. Donald Trump took to Twitter to lash out at his predecessor Barack Obama again. Trump’s ongoing obsession with Obama was on full display as he blamed him for the gang MS-13’s existence, when in reality Obama’s immigration policies had nothing to do with it. In fact, the gang had been around for decades. The MS-13 gang was formed by Salvadorians, and caught the attention of the FBI since the early 2000s. The FBI formed its dedicated national gang task force in 2004 to combat MS-13, during the Bush administration. By 2008, MS-13 had some presence in at least 42…

Today on The View, the panel slammed Pres. Donald Trump for the way he comported himself over Easter as well as his refusal to release his tax returns. On Easter Sunday, Trump tweeted this: Whoopi Goldberg started the discussion by saying, So the new guy [Trump] has had a very interesting Easter. He started the holiday with some tweets reminding people he won the election, and claiming that the protesters who want to see his tax returns were paid to march. There were protests in a 150 cities and even out in space. So all of these people were paid?…

Remember Pres. Donald Trump’s now infamous chocolate cake interview? Now another part of the president’s conversation with Fox Business has come under scrutiny. The “armada” he claimed he was sending to North Korea was actually headed the other way! In a fawning interview with Fox’s Maria Bartiromo, Trump began by bashing President Barack Obama, as is his custom: “You know, I don’t talk about the military, I’m not like Obama.” Trump on North Korea—“We are sending an armada” NYT—Armada sailed in the opposite direction https://t.co/9koLKDY2n4pic.twitter.com/Gyd6vnuurx He then said: “We are sending an armada, very powerful. We have submarines, very powerful.…
