Nobody knew health care could be so complicated, right? The vote on the GOP’s Obamacare repeal was called off today after House Speaker Paul Ryan had told Pres. Donald Trump that he didn’t have the votes to pass the party’s proposed health care bill. Trump still tried to push ahead on the vote, but Ryan somehow managed to convince him that going ahead with the vote would “turn a bad defeat into a spectacular loss,” The New York Times reported. Ryan was forced to concede that “we’re going to be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future.” Much has been…

Mere hours after Wednesday’s devastating terror attack in London, Donald Trump Jr. thought best to viciously attack the city’s mayor on Twitter. Trump Jr. took a swipe at London Mayor Sadiq Khan — using an old interview and taking it completely out of context — for which he was duly criticized on Twitter. Now Khan himself has put the littlest Donald in his place, too. When asked by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour what he thought of the president’s son’s reaction, Khan said “Well I’m not going to respond to a tweet from Donald Trump Jr. I’ve been doing more important things over the…

It would take 23 Republicans to dissent to stop Trumpcare from passing the House of Representatives. According different reports, an estimated 29 to 36 Republicans say they cannot support the proposed health care bill in its current incarnation. President Barack Obama released a statement on the need to protect the Affordable Care Act today, on the seventh anniversary of the passage of his landmark health care bill. It’s been tradition for past presidents to stick to retirement and not comment on the actions of their successors. Obama said shortly after Pres. Donald Trump’s victory that he would only speak out in “certain moments where I think our core values may be at stake.” Just over two months into Trump’s presidency, this is the second time Obama had to speak out — the first being the controversial Muslim ban.…
