One of the many things that make Americans sick about the Trump administration is its obvious assault on the environment.  A federal appeals forum in Washington just said not so fast Trump; this Obama-era law is here to stay. The questionable Scott Pruitt attempted to roll back a provision for companies to monitor and reduce methane leaks.  Methane has a more deleterious effect on the earth’s ozone than carbon dioxide released by cars. The oil and gas industry urged the Trump administration to remove the regulation to boost profits at low-producing wells.  The three-judge panel wasn’t deceived. The judges ruled that…

The House Appropriations Committee has filed an amendment that would remove Donald Trump of his power to use military force in the war against terrorism. It would need that he receive case-by-case authorization to use military force from Congress, rather than the blanket approval that has been in effect since 2001. This amendment was authored by a Democrat, Rep. Barbara Lee of California, and recognized upon and ultimately passed by Republican colleagues on the committee, making it a bipartisan resolution. The amendment, which will be attached to another bill, will cause the AUMF to expire 240 days after the bill to which it is attached passes. The…

A new video exposing President Donald Trump walking away from his heavily armored limousine after getting off Air Force One is once again putting questions about his mental health. The video shows one jaw-dropping moment when Trump appears to fail to recognize his 18-foot-long armored limousine—nicknamed “The Beast”—after he descends from the plane. I swear to God Trump is sundowning. Here he is, confused, wandering away from his limo. He had to be redirected.pic.twitter.com/gJtlQKOBO7 — NotMyPresident (@MarcusC22973194) July 4, 2017

President Obama went back to his 4-year childhood home of Jakarta, Indonesia at the end of a 10-day family trip to address a heartfelt speech the entire word needs to listen. Most of his speech didn’t focus on the present political climate in America, but the part that did said it all. He took a shot at Trump that only Obama knows how to take. Barack praised the people of Indonesia for adopting the differences in people.  He highlighted that quality as one of his glorious memories of living part of his childhood there. Then came the part of his speech…

President Donald Trump’s rude, personal Twitter attack towards MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski has drawn no shortage of objection from liberals and conservatives. However, the keenest and funniest response surely came from broadcasting mogul and media personality Donnie Deutsch. Stated Donnie about Trump on MSNBC, “He’s a pig, he’s a vulgar pig, and I find what’s ironic Michelle Obama says when he goes low, we go high. You guys take the high road, I’ll go low. He’s physically disgusting to look at. So beyond the fact he’s obviously not well, the misogyny … besides the obvious vulgarity, the obvious stupidity, he’s…

On Thursday, Polish President  Andrzej Duda and his spouse, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, greeted President Trump and first lady Melania Trump. And it seemed like Poland’s first lady was very ready to welcome her U.S. counterpart. Kornhauser-Duda’s warm welcome for Melania Trump meant that President Trump was left handshake-less and watching on. But who hasn’t been confused and caught in this awkward situation before? Right after the Polish first lady shook Melania’s hand, she turned to the president and shook his (small) hands, too. It’s far away from the first time that our president encountered this kind of awkwardness. Never disremember that time that Melania appeared to swat her…

Andrew Garfield has been criticized for declaring he is gay, but without the “physical act.” Garfield is leading onstage as a gay man with AIDS in a London production of “Angels in America.” Britain’s Gay Times magazine published Garfield told the audience in a panel interview that he was not currently gay, but left open the opportunity for an “awakening” later in his life. He said he prepared for the part by watching episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and continued that he was “a gay man right now just without the physical act.” The remark has fired criticism from some on Twitter…

Every year, Pride Month is observed across the world, and the flag that has come to be affiliated with the LGBTQ community becomes more noticeable. But what is the story of the Pride flag, and what does it signify? The story starts with Gilbert Baker, an openly gay activist born in 1951 who trained himself to sew after receiving an honorable discharge from the US Army. In 1974, he met Harvey Milk, a prominent gay leader. Three years later, Milk challenged Baker to come up with a symbol of pride for the gay community. On June 25, 1978, the first gay pride flag flew in the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day…
