According to Politico, California Gov. Jerry Brown called President Donald Trump’s approach to climate change and North Korea “stupid and dangerous and silly,” sharpening his criticism of the president and comparing his supporters to ignorant cave dwellers. “They’re both kind of very similar,” Brown said at a climate change event in New York. “You should check out the derivation of ‘Trump-ite’ and ‘troglodyte,’ because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.” “Everything he’s doing is … stupid and dangerous and silly. I mean, come on, really, calling the North Korean dictator ‘Rocket Man’?” Brown said,…

Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore may be worse than most Republicans. There was a time he suggested that non-Christians were to blame for the 9/11 attacks, and recently used racist terms to describe Asians and Native Americans. Now he’s doubling down on his non-believer theory:     You wonder why we’re having shootings, and killings here in 2017? Because we’ve asked for it. We’ve taken God out of everything. We’ve taken prayer out of school, we’ve taken prayer out of council meetings.” Moore has a very selective memory. He forgets that one of the essential freedoms in America is for…

This is unbelievable!! Twitter has exploded with ‘ Trump vindicated.’ Has Trump’s paranoia and false accusation against former President Obama been vindicated by the news that his campaign adviser Paul Manafort was being wiretapped by the FBI? It wasn’t enough that Trump’s own Justice Department was forced to debunked their delusional executive’s fantasies of being persecuted by Obama. Reality is just not going to penetrate the dense, muddy walls of Trump cultism. To wit, the felon and Republican birther Dinesh D’Souza, who shares the conservative persecution complex that endears people like Trump and Palin to the base and whose mind…

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is not stopping to ensure that she destroys the independent watchdog that keeps private loan servicers handling the nation’s more than $1.4 trillion in student loans held by about 42 million borrowers from using deceptive practices and fraudulent means to rip off students and former student has run into a buzzsaw of opposition from 39 Democratic members of Congress. DeVos is ending a practice instituted under President Obama by which the Department of Education shares loan information with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), that is used to keep private, for-profit loan servicers from tricking and…

Senate Republicans are attempting for the umpteenth time to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The latest effort is being led by Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. Senator John McCain, however, who cast one of three decisive Republican votes against Obamacare repeal legislation the last time around, is not supporting this move. Answered Sen. McCain with a very telling response, “I’m interested in that, of course. We– this President is always full of surprises. But the problem is, John, it shouldn’t be bipartisanship. It should be both Republican, Democrat and the President. So, yes, he…

Last Wednesday, the White House released a photo of President Donald Trump meeting with Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina. However,  most people, however, were distracted by Trump’s outfit: a navy blue suit jacket with black pants. Seemingly from a different suit. On Friday, , First Lady Melania Trump proudly introduced her husband, President Donald Trump  to the stage after her speech at a US Air Force event. She ended up with an awkward and stern handshake from the President who told her ‘thank you’ before ushering her off to the side, muttering: ‘You go and sit down now.’ She spoke calmly and slowly to thank the servicemen and women of the Air Force, ‘In the wake of two devastating hurricanes, the world has witnessed your courage and compassion and you have made every American proud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayKvZss8Hw0 ‘I know I speak on…

Few days ago, there was a report that Red Cross doesn’t seem to have enough to give a decent meal to Hurricane victims. People donated hundreds of millions in donations to Red Cross, one of the leading suppliers of assistance to hurricane victims, but it looks as if the organization needs more  money. The Red Cross is handing out bits of raw cauliflower and ham with no bread.  Hundreds of millions of dollars should be enough to ship in some proper food from the surrounding areas. According to the Red Cross, 91% of donations go toward victims, but this is…

New Jersey Republican Assemblywoman Maria Rodriguez-Gregg just got herself in big trouble after dashcam footage emerged of her berating police officers during her arrest for driving under the influence after they smelled marijuana issuing from the vehicle. She threw a tantrum when the police wouldn’t breathalyze the car behind her. “It’s 3 in the morning and they’re probably drinking. Make them do a breathalyzer. I don’t need this kind of sh*t from these assh*les who can’t drive.” Of course, she insisted on throwing her position around. I got rear-ended and you guys are treating me like I’m the f**king a**hole.…
