Pres. Donald Trump(’s interns) tweeted an impersonal birthday greeting to Melania Trump that was not only poorly done but also mostly about Trump himself (and his inauguration crowds).
Compare and contrast this with his predecessor President Barack Obama’s birthday greeting to his wife and soulmate earlier this year:
This is how it’s done. This is how a man who loves his wife wishes her a happy birthday.
The text of the greeting referenced Obama’s farewell speech, where he praised Michelle for all she’s done and all she’s meant to him (get your tissues ready):

Michelle, for the past 25 years, you have not only been my wife and mother of my children; you have been my best friend. You took on a role you didn’t ask for and you made it your own with grace and with grit and with style and good humor. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody.
