Sunday on “Meet the Press,” NBC’s Andrea Mitchell slammed Republican candidate Donald Trump, saying: “He cannot stick to a subject. It is remarkable. And when he doesn’t know something, he just changes the subject, makes it all about himself.”
Mitchell also referred to a New York Times interview with Trump, where the Republican frontrunner dishes about foreign policy.
He is completely all over the lot on Iran. He believes, he complained that Iran isn’t buying our planes. It had to be pointed out to him that Iran is still under sanctions and cannot buy American planes. He thinks North Korea and Iran are the biggest trading partners when North Korea’s biggest trading partner is China. He is completely uneducated about any part of the world.
Following the transcript is nearly impossible, because what Trump provides is nothing more than a straight up word salad. Trump has no real foreign policy ideas — all he does is string random words together, with the occasional vaguely defined Republican talking point thrown in.
It is blatantly, terrifyingly obvious that he is in fact winging it.
Trump, very much like failed vice presidential candidate and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is unable to name a single book, article, or newspaper he has read, or even a single source he used to get information from.
He is completely uninformed, and utterly unfit to serve as president.
