At a rally in North Dakota, President Donald Trump railed against the traditional “elite.”

The president’s rally speech was an opportunity for him to talk about his supporters whom he called  “super elite.”

He went on to brag that he and the other “super elite” have “more brains” and “nicer boats” than those usually considered “elite.” That was a reference to the college-educated coastal liberal that Trump supporters generally loathe.

He railed against those who are typically considered “elite.” He said, “I hate it, I meet these people, they call it the elite.” He went on, making his “brains” and “boats” comment. The president said, “We got more money, we got more brains, we got better houses and apartments, we got nicer boats, we’re smarter than they are and they say they’re the elite.” He added, “You’re the elite, we’re the elite.”

He then called the elite “stone-cold losers.” He then coined his new term “super elite” by saying, “Let’s call ourselves, from now on, the super elite.”

He then moved on to take ownership of Hillary Clinton’s term to describe Trump voters, “deplorable.” He said, “I’m representing the best people on earth, the deplorables.” The president intentionally uses explosively divisive language and name calling to his benefit.

He continued the tirade against the elite at a Minnesota rally where he said, “They always call the other side ‘the elite.’ Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do. I’m smarter than they are. I’m richer than they are. I became president and they didn’t.”
