Elizabeth Warren just Exposed Jeff Sessions’ hidden agenda in the floor of Congress

It is already one after after Senator Elizabeth Warren was barred from speaking on the Senate floor by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. She was reading a letter from Coretta Scott King opposing Jeff Sessions’ nomination for a judgeship in the infamous “Nevertheless, she persisted” incident during Sessions’ Justice Department nomination hearings, the Massachusetts Senator was again attacking the now installed Attorney General from her seat in Congress.

2012 Massachusetts Democratic Endorsing Convention

The Hill reported  on Warren’s latest verbal assault against her former Senate colleague in his role as head of the Justice Department.

On Jeff Sessions’s watch, the Justice Department has promoted voter suppression. On his watch, the Justice Department has endorsed discrimination. … And on his watch, the Justice Department has led an all-out bigotry-fueled attack on immigrants and refugees,” Warren exclaimed on the Senate floor.

Warren didn’t forget to attack Sessions for abysmal record on voting rights, calling him “a man deemed too racist to hold a federal court judgeship in 1986” and adding that he had “embraced President Trump‘s make-believe, fact-free conspiracy theories around voter fraud.”

With Sessions reportedly out of favor with Trump over his recusal in the Russia investigation and his subsequent inability to protect the President from the ever-narrowing claws of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s relentless probe of both Trump’s campaign’s collusion and his attempts to obstruct justice, Warren pointed out the “ultimate irony” of the President’s own lack of loyalty to his cabinet members.

Sessions has groveled but Donald Trump will never forgive the sin of failing to serve Donald Trump personally,” she said.
