The trump family is not lying low even in the midst of the Scott Pruitt scandal, when it comes to spending taxpayer money. It has been revealed that Donald Trump, Jr. and brother Eric Trump just spent $73,000 of taxpayer money on a business trip to Dubai.
According to CBS News, the Trumps visited Hussain Sajwani, a Trump Organization Middle East business partner. Sajwani tweeted a photo of himself with the Trump sons, noting they were “celebrating [his]daughter Amira’s wedding.”

A spokeswoman for the Trump Organization said that the Trumps also went to Dubai to visit with “the team at Trump International Golf Club, Dubai.”
“The Secret Service is conducting a protective operation in the [United Arab Emirates],” a Secret Service spokesperson told CBS News. “As a matter of practice we do not comment on the specifics of protectee’s trips.”
Donald Trump turned over management of the Trump Organization to his adult two sons before taking office, but has still come under scrutiny over his family profiting from the business while he is in the White House.
The family faced criticism last year after the adult Trump children cost taxpayers at least $330,000 in security costs on a ski trip to Aspen, Colo.
