Today in frightening news: The president doesn’t know who the current leader of North Korea is. In an interview with his favorites Fox and Friends, Pres. Donald Trump had trouble naming Kim Jong Un or telling him apart from his father and predecessor, Kim Jong-Il. Trump also repeatedly referred to Kim as “this gentleman.”

What makes it extra scary is that the context was a question on whether he has ruled out a military strike on North Korea.
“You know, they’ve been talking with this gentleman for a long time. You read Clinton’s book, he said, ‘Oh, we made such a great peace deal,’ and it was a joke. You look at different things over the years with President Obama. Everybody has been outplayed, they’ve all been outplayed by this gentleman. And we’ll see what happens. But I just don’t telegraph my moves.”
The “gentleman” in President Bill Clinton’s book was Kim Jong-Il, the previous leader who died in 2011.
Last week, Trump admitted after a brief conversation with Chinese President Xi Jingping that the North Korea issue is “not so easy.”
