Trump camp paid $50,000 to Trump Jr’s lawyer before emails leaked

Payment to Alan Futerfas’s firm was done 13 days prior to emails relating to alleged connections to Russia were publicly published.

The organization made the payment to Alan Futerfas’s law firm on June 27. The conclusion here is that even if Trump reasons out that he did not have knowledge about his son’s meeting with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, his campaign committee did.

The younger Trump was forced to reveal the damaging emails to Clinton which revealed that he embraced what he was told about the attempt to damage Hillary Clinton’s electoral campaign.

The president said, “He’s a good kid. And he had a meeting; nothing happened with the meeting. It was a short meeting, as he told me – because I only heard about it two or three days ago.”

On the other hand, the Trump campaign committee’s finance filing revealed that it paid $89,000 to the Trump Corporation, a company that is led by Donald Trump Jr and his brother Eric, for “legal consulting”.
