Trump Just Tweeted That He’s An Exceptional Writer And Any Errors Are On Purpose (And He Made An Error)

President Donald Trump is proud of his writing style and Twitter and has slammed reporters for examining his messages for constant grammatical or spelling errors.

Trump accused the mainstream media of trying to “pour over” his tweets “looking for a mistake,” incorrectly using the phrase “pour over” (meaning to skip) instead of the phrase “pore over” (meaning to closely examine.)

“After having written many bestselling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake,” he wrote.

“I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!” Trump added.

Trump, who published books with co-authors frequently about his business empire and real estate tactics before becoming president, is most famously known as an author for his 1987 book “Art of the Deal,” co-written by journalist Tony Schwartz.
