You Won’t Believe Roseanne Barr’s Newest Excuse For Her RACIST Tweet

Roseanne Barr found herself in an awkward position after sending out a racist tweet about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Roseanne responded to a tweet about Jarrett by claiming the latter was born of the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.”

ABC cancelled Roseanne’s sitcom. In a statement, ABC’s President Channing Dungey said, “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant, and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

Roseanne has returned to Twitter to try to justify her tweet, claiming it wasn’t racist at all. Instead, she claims the tweet was actually about the “anti-semitism of the Iran deal.”

Roseanne wrote, “Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism. That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want.”

She apparently felt the need to further illustrate her complete and utter lack of racism. She did that by tweeting about Malcolm X. Imagine the racist neighbor who claims he is not racist because he “has a black friend.” This is Roseanne’s Twitter version.

Her tweet came in two parts.

First she wrote, “1) I want u all2 know I’m fine. I’ve been using this time2 reflect &2 gain insight on what I said & how it was misunderstood.. Needless2 say I’m NOT what people have accused me of! I’ve never practiced “RACISM” in my entire life & never will. Meantime…(next page)”

She continued, “2) I’ve been watching this new doc called “Malcolm X: An overwhelming Influence on the Black Power Movement.” Directed by my dear friend Thomas Muhammad (my campaign manager in 2012)who called me immediately when my show was canceled. https://vimeo.com/226326723 password-FINALXDRAFT”
